    DESCRIPTION

    The Job:

    The position includes responsibility for troubleshooting, servicing, programming, debugging and support of software and hardware utilized on automated controls systems.

    Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Assist in development and support of PLC and HMI programs for use on industrial equipment that may include multi axis servo control systems
    • Responsible for integration of specialized hardware and software into manufacturing systems to enhance automation and control with an emphasis on efficiency
    • Develop, load, setup support and troubleshoot software for automated control systems
    • Prepare functional descriptions of process controls and sequence of operations
    • Assist customers and/or co-workers with electrical/programming issues
    • Provide electrical machine support both on and off-site

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of 5 years \"hands on\" electrical experience required
    • Proficient in industrial machine controls, electrical systems, PLC and HMI programming with a working knowledge of multi axis servo systems
    • Able to create CAD drawings for assembly and wiring control panels and instrumentation
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

        The Job:

        The Apprentice is responsible, by observation and practice, for understanding and learning the basic skills, responsibilities, and expertise needed to do all required work as an Electrician, while helping Journeymen and other employees with their tasks and contributing to operations. Over the course of time, the Apprentice’s skills will increase, and they will take more ownership of jobs and how they are run, dependent on their abilities.

            The Electronic Repair (ER) Manager is responsible for managing all electronic repair work to be done through their facility within their geographic area. They manage all work crews and personnel at their respective facilities. They are responsible for the general management and well-being of their business unit, and for promoting the New Electric Brand and enhancing our image.

             

            In addition to bringing in sales and creating profits by quoting and securing projects, the ER Manager’s duties include scheduling work, meeting all required performance targets, and fulfilling the New Electric Mission Statement.

             

            The ER Manager is also accountable for project invoices and acts as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries while maintaining a high level of customer service.
